Tired of squinting at the screen trying to figure out what buttons to click? Why your books aren’t balancing? Or what your actual profit was last month? Are you dreading facing your CPA and filing your taxes?

It’s not your fault. Well, unless you started a business so you could spend all your time playing with numbers. No? I didn’t think so. And I’m sure the drudgery of entering every receipt, the tedium of categorizing every transaction, the frustration of trying to make all those little numbers add up right is wearing a little thin about now. Or else you wouldn’t be here looking for a bookkeeper to save you from it all.

Well, I want to help you. I want you to know that you are clicking the right buttons, that your books are balanced, and that you can get whatever report you need in a snap. And at the end of the year, you can face your CPA with confidence, because you had a ProAdvisor in your corner.

I could say a few things about my certifications and experience, but that’s not what you really need to know. You need to know that you will be treated right.

Only pay for what you need.

From paying invoices to matching receipts to bank statements, this is the general upkeep of your books. Balancing, categorizing, and reports every month so your business can stay on track.

Haven’t balanced in a while? Or maybe you’re converting from paper to digital? Or you didn’t do last year’s books at all? It’s okay. I’ll dig through it all and plug it into QBO. And you will get clean, balanced books back.

At this time, I am not comfortable doing payroll. I plan to take a course with QuickBooks on their payroll process soon as well as another course to make sure I am educated on every step.

While I can’t come and physically count your wares, I can help you keep track of how many you should have. This includes services like tracking what was bought and sold, reporting most sold items and services, and giving you the numbers you need to audit your inventory.

For small clients, a few emails and one phone call a month may be enough. But for others a phone call every week may be too little! In this case, the more personal communication you need from me after setting up, the more it will cost you. After all, time is money.

I would like to set up a meeting at least once a quarter to go over your business trends and reports, present issues, and future plans. Monthly meetings are also welcome. This is where we really get together and go over everything and make sure we are on the same page.

I’m sure you still have a lot of questions. My descriptions of my services are short and there isn’t any pricing! Well, I’m afraid that comes with the territory. You see, I don’t know how big or small your business is or how busy you are. I don’t’ know how complicated or unorganized your current processes are or if you would be amendable to a few changes.

Tax Filing

Will I file your taxes? The short answer is no. I am not a tax preparer, nor do I want to be. Those poor people have it rough with more rules and regulations being piled on them every year. Yikes! And a big ole heck no! What I do is communicate with your CPA and get your books just the way they like them. Then your CPA will spend less time cleaning up and recategorizing things on your books and can just do the tax filing. And since I am undoubtably cheaper to pay by the hour than the CPA, you end up saving a little money too.

Ideal Client

Nobody likes to have their time wasted, so I wanted to say a few things that I hope will tell you if my services are a good fit for you. I am only working in QuickBooks Online, not Desktop. And I can currently get you 30% off the standard price because I’m a ProAdvisor! And these are virtual bookkeeping services, meaning I am not going to travel to meet with you in person, or pick up some receipts. Once I get your books caught up and cleaned up, I will be asking you to go all digital. Everything being sent to me will be pdf files and images, no paper. Because while I am willing to handle the shoe box full of receipts for the clean-up, that mess will not be part of my daily life. I prefer to be able to sleep at night, thank you.

These things don’t mean that I’m unwilling to have phone calls or Zoom meetings. Or that I won’t offer solutions to help with the transition, like a good receipt scanner. I am also willing to work with what you already have, like using Google Drive or Microsoft One Drive as a way to exchange documents. There is alternative way to do everything and going digital can be a good way to reorganize. After all, the goal here is to make your business run better than ever. And sometimes that means making a few changes along the way.
