Hi, I’m Cora, the proud owner of Trusty Tally, LLC. With a background in customer service for over a decade, I discovered my true passion in bookkeeping—and I couldn’t be happier that I made the switch!
A Little About Me
I grew up on a small farm and cattle ranch in East Texas, where I spent my days surrounded by animals and the demanding lifestyle of ranching. The work was tough and never-ending. Animals needed daily care, which left little time for vacations or travel—just quick family visits now and then. As much as I loved my roots, I knew I wanted a career that offered flexibility and the ability to work remotely, so I could explore new places like national parks, museums, and maybe even Europe someday.
One day, I saw an ad on YouTube about building your own bookkeeping business. At first, I was skeptical. Could I really build a business, especially with my introverted nature? Marketing and sales weren’t exactly my strengths. But the thought of working behind a computer, helping people, and offering services remotely quickly appealed to me more than the customer service roles I had been in.
Experience and Certifications
After some research and self-education, I took the plunge. Thanks to resources from Intuit and an opportunity at a credit union, I gained hands-on experience and certifications in QuickBooks Online bookkeeping. That was the turning point, and I realized that this was my calling. I am now fully committed to offering QuickBooks Online bookkeeping services to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals who need reliable and accurate financial support.
